This may have been asked already, but I'm about to apply and I'm still unsure whether to do straight economics or PPE. I really like the latter as a course but I'm worried that it might put me at a disadvantage in terms of career prospects compared to someone who did economics. At the same time, I know that it's a highly respected degree, but I'm not gonna apply to Oxford and it's not so likely that I'll get into Warwick. Will a PPE degree at, say, Nottingham or York still be as good as/better than an economics one at the same universities?
Also, what if it was economics and politics, for example at Lancaster?

I'm an international student and PPE isn't a thing here, so I'd really appreciate some opinions. Thanks in advance!
