Where do I start? My food tech teachers left until January as she is "unwell" and she left us to do our mock exam for food tech with the help of independent revision (which i had no problems with) but the course work we've been working on from year 10 was decided to be randomly checked by a food tech teacher from another school and it came out that whilst our teacher told us that some us (including me) are A*/A students whilst others are C/B it came out that the A*/A students like me are actually barely a C and the rest are D's, E's and F's.

13 students with the most exceptional course work were chosen and the headteacher told us we had the choice to continue doing food tech course work on Saturdays in another school (not far from us) to catch up as because of our teacher she didn't follow the syllabus properly and this will start from January OR during the normal food tech lessons we have, we will do an European Computer Driving Licence (ECDL) course which the headteacher described "easy" and said it can be completed within 2-3 months with a good grade.

I'm worried what should I do, I worked so hard, so many hours of work I put into my coursework but then again whilst catching up for food tech i could loose all the time i could have spent revising for other exams and with ECDL I'm worried it wont look as good as a food tech gcse or what if it isn't that "easy" and if it is known as easy then it wont look good to get into a good college. I'm also unsure if I want to study medicine to become a doctor or study nutrition to be a nutritionist instead.

I just feel so violated!
Please tell me what you think I should do. Is it worth continuing to work so hard and what if this will cause to pull my other grades down? or should i just do ECDL? Thank you for taking your time to read this I appreciate it.
