No, I'm not proud to be British. I'm American, so I guess it's difficult for me.

Yes. Extremely. Even though my parents were born elsewhere, I'm all for Britain!

yes and no

I dont like being British for looking at our trains.
I like being British for our long cultural past.

There are plenty more reasons, but they are the only two I can think of at the moment.

Eeeek our trains are awful. I recently wrote a complaint because the train service messed up my day - I went down to cambridge with my dad and it cost £70 but there was a few hours delay which meant i missed the best part of the open day. I asked to be refunded the ticket and hoped for compensation too. What did they do? I got an £18 TRAIN voucher so I could experience another disastor.

I am proud to be British but I do not like all Britons.

In particular those ones who go abroad and act like a load of drunken hooligans which means that all foreigners think that we all behave in such a way.

I'm indifferent about being British really.. I suppose I'm just thankful being British doesn't herald the prejudice living in the UK as many other nationalities do.

Hello
I dont believe it matters where you come from! In this day and age where people are moving from one part of the world to the other it doesnt matter where people come from anymore.
Why should people be prejudiced against others because of the country they come from?

I was born in Nigeria but raised in England so i guess i'm bi-national. If I had to pick one the two I'd rather just be British. Being bi-national sucks by the way. You really have no sense of identity

This person is not American. I beleive he/she/it decided it may be amusing to pretend to be American and then write something which is all together derogatory about Americans.
