Optometry and Audiology Degree

Hi
I'm finding it difficult to choose between optometry and audiology and was wondering if it makes sense to do an optometry degree and then after that do an audiology degree?

Or if there are any other suggestions for degrees that are similar

Thanks

Why would you do one degree then another? Makes for a long time studying, and not using your first degree while you study the second. You may well find that there is a lot of overlap...

Healthcare Science degrees are general in the first year and you specialise in your second year, so hopefully that should give you an idea of which you prefer. For example I am in my first year of studying Audiology at Southampton and the first year also covers neurophysiology and some optometry, along with more general Healthcare Science such as anatomy, physiology and other more general Professional Practice modules.

If you go to a uni that runs full Optometry and Audiology courses, you will probably find that you can change course after your first year (but you would need to check this).

My advice would be to find out a bit more about each subject and make a choice now. Maybe do some more work experience or have some observation days in both to help you decide.
