Chances are I will prolly get a job and work anyway, after all I graduate from a BSc at the Australian National University soon (July!), but wondering just in case :p: (for shoots/promo I wouldn't have thought it necessary but I could be wrong).

This is because I will most likely only be in London for 2 months, then traveling around the rest of Europe.

Cheers x

Yeh i think you do need a visa bcoz if your not a UK citizen you need a working visa or something to work in the UK for any type of work, unless its cash in hand which would be illegal, lol but if no-one knows, does it really matter? I think you may have to apply for a UK national insurance number, because if your working you have to pay NI.

Yeah that's fine, I know about that. I'm going to the VISA place to get it sorted out but if I can go on a holiday VISA it would be easier... I'm only in London after all for 2 months x

Why ask on TSR? Why not find out from the people who make the rules?

I don't know you, but if you're from Australia, it would appear you would either need a student visa or a work permit. As special as you might think it, modelling isn't different from any other job, I'm afraid.

Being a citizen of Oz, which is in the commonwealth you can get a working Visa if one of your grandparents was born in the UK. Its a long shot but one which will make your life much easier if it applies to you.

IF you're earning money from in this country then I'd say yes, though if you're taxed you can always claim any money back when you go back to oz.

there is probably ways of twisting the system, but better safe?
