to all those people who said there should be vocational a-levels - there are- theyre called gnvq's .
personally- id like an a-level in common sence. id be really good at that and most people i know would be crap- so it would be a highly sought after qualification- which would baisicly garantee you a job!!! yupeee! lots of money for me!!

physics isn't useful?
its used from massive undertakings such as the hubble telescope down to the streamline shape of your car.
I agree on the user who mentioned first aid. Our school did a night class on it which was a shame, as it clashed with my tuesday night pub quiz. However, if I had the chance to do it again I would probably do it.
The whole system's a mess. Scrap GNVQs, scrap VCEs, scrap the AS, and have one simple advanced system called the A-level, which links directly with university degrees.
The vocational qualifications at the moment are either too broad or too specific. I mean, where's Art going to get you? How on earth is that vocational? Business could be related to anything, so if you're going for a job in Human Resources, all you'd have to show for yourself is a little project you did covering a few requirements.
i wud like to make an A lev pornography exam as i wud rule when it came to a practical! lol
