I'm not talking political parties or voting. I meant conservative in the ideological sense i.e. as an adjective and not a noun.

What makes Hitler worse than the Bolsheviks?
Hitler was passionate about his views and he carried them out because of hate of the Jews (Personal Experience). Trump is just doing this for the fame and not the passion. He has never experienced any hate of anything(He grew up rich), so he built an empire and now he wants to become president because he's rich.

There's a difference between doing something with passion and doing something because you can.
Don't flatter Donald Trump. Hitler was a calculating, manipulative and evil man with twisted ambitions and the political savvy, willpower and violent troops at his disposal to achieve them. Trump is just a factious lowlife with a lot of money (although seemingly not enough to invest in a decent toupée) and knows nothing about anything other than himself.

What evidence do you have that he will build death camps for muslims/mexicans or invade Canada? There's also nothing suggesting Trump won't grow wings tomorrow, but the fact that it would be pretty unusual behaviour means the burden of evidence lies in the person suggesting it may happen.

I personally think it was far easier for Hitler to take control of Germany because of the fact they had just lost a global war, had to pay millions in reperations and were clear European underdogs.

Trump wants to "make America great again" by, in part, having Muslims registered and prevented from entering the country. This speaks volumes already.



Most US politicians want to "Make America Great again" or some variant on that, Trump's just used the phrase as a marketing plot more effectively. Wanting to have Muslim's registered is pretty disturbing, I agree with you on that, however In this day and age it's so patently impractical an idea that I doubt he really means it. And Trump isn't stupid.

I genuinely can't comprehend the amount of privilege, narcissism and outright naivety it takes to compare Donald Trump to Adolf Hitler - western children are moronic, sheltered, mollycoddled and clearly entirely wrapped up in their own self-righteousness. The former has suggested a temporary ban on Muslim immigration, the latter dehumanised and slaughtered 6 million Jewish people and is responsible for the deaths of tens of millions of your ancestors.

Obviously it's silly to ban Muslims entering a country, but to compare that with the Holocaust is so deeply offensive and insensitive.


In addition to this, Trump believes in non-intervention whereas Clinton is very much in favour of invading Muslim countries, so whilst Trump acts like an insensitive jackass, he probably is less in favour of killing Muslims than the supposed moderate, Hillary Clinton (who receives huge amounts of funding from arms companies)



I'm not saying Trump is the good guy since none of this excuses the nasty things he says, but for a website filled with people who see themselves as intellectuals and academics, most people seem fooled by Hillary's style over her substance.

According to Trump's ex-wife - Ivana, Trump kept speches of Hitler that he read. His sourece of 'inspiration'. So, is he similar in the sense that he's spreading fear and hatred to gain attention of the masses; then yes. This is also coupled with the fact that Trump blames certain groups of people for the problems of America, much like the aforesaid man.

If you want to be good at speeches then Hitler would be one of the best people to read, he was one of the most successful orator's in history. Reading Hitlers speeches makes you a Nazi as much as reading the communist manifesto makes you a Marxist
