Hi,

I am currently pursuing a degree in Biomedical sciences, and I was wondering what sorts of jobs could i possibly be looking at, perhaps after further study.

I have heard that a job in the health sciences are general not very high paying, however, I would like to know what sorts of high income jobs are open to people in this field, and what career path should be taken

Hello,

Depending on your particular interests, there are a number of routes you can take related to your degree. As you have mentioned, some of these routes may require further study and specialisation.

To give you an idea of the kind of jobs you might be interested in, I've put together a couple of articles from our advice site that may help you regarding next steps:

What can I do with my Biology, Anatomy and Human Sciences degree?
Sector insight: Science and research

Regarding your question re. salary, both the below sector guides give you an idea of salaries across different roles:

Science & Research overview

Hope this helps! Let us know if we can help with anything else :-)
