Deloitte Insight day in London

Hey just wanted to find out if anyone is going for the insight day to be held in London on friday the 20th of April.

Also I wanted to find out if this event does help our CV in any shape or form. Cheers people

I came across this event on their website and applied yesterday. I got invited today. There should still be room for more people I think :smile:

In answer to your 'does it help my CV' question: one of my family (in-the-know) says it would be useful to attend to show Deloitte that you are really really interested in working for them (as opposed to anyone who'll take you). :smile:

I went to the Inside View by Deloitte which was two weeks ago and lasted two days, so I'm not going to go to the Insight day.

It doesn't really help your CV but attending such an event can show that you have researched into the sector.

Agree with Schokis on this one.
Went to the Insight Day last year.
Applied for Deloitte and got a place on the SVS this year.
It's a good area to bring up in interviews.
It shows interest towards the firm.

Was there anything in particular that you found very exciting or tough about the day. Also were u given the opportunity to ask questions?

Plenty of opportunities to ask questions-infact your are encouraged to do so.
They're not really assessing you, more the opposite.
You see the organisation, talk to people and see whether you would fit in there.
You do some fun games-i think we did a mock audit and a tax game.
Enjoy it.
