Does anyone know how to install Linux natively on an Elovo X6-13V21 (WM8880-based)?

I'm asking around on every forum I can think of at this point that has a technology section, because all the places I would have expected to have answers like xda-developers and the Debian forums didn't help me out at all. The specs of the machine are at the link below. I have the 1GB RAM and 8GB internal flash configuration.

I managed to find the U-boot image on my machine by dumping the mtd0 bank, cutting off part of it in a hex editor, and then gunzipping the compressed image. I tested with power cycling script, and U-boot reads FirmwareInstall/autorun.1.wmt from an SD card if one is inserted. However, I have no idea how to load the Debian installer using a U-boot script. I can't really see the U-boot output to test scripts and see what they're doing, because I can't figure out how to get it to display on my screen.

The only lead I have so far is this site, which seems to be telling me that I have the one chipset no one supports. I would think there has to be a way around it, though. If the WonderMedia 8850 is supported, it can't be that hard to support this.

I got this because I wanted a cheap ARM-based Linux system with a built-in monitor and keyboard rather than a development board that needed externals. If I had known what a pain this was going to be, I would have saved up for a Samsung Chromebook and put Linux on that instead. Android is pretty useless on a netbook with no touchscreen, and the only application that works properly with a mouse and keyboard on Android is Google Chrome anyway. LOL.

If it helps, here's what I'm looking at in the Debian documentation. I can't see anything helpful in there, but maybe I missed something.

Maybe there's a bright Computer Science student on here looking for bragging rights? If so, helping me this out will certainly impress the Linux and ARM communities.
