On the news and in the papers and news websites,

The UK has the worst of blah blah thing in Europe.

The UK has the highest rates of blah blah terrible thing in Europe.

The UK has the lowest of blah blah thing in Europe.

Because the news only reports on the bad points.

A prime example, as this is a student forum after all, is the UK has the most top 100 universities in the EU (15, compared to 5 for the Netherlands in second place according to QS)
