I've not found the creams to be very effective at all. There'll be people who agree with me on this, and of course those lucky people who find it to be useful stuff!

ive used it... and too be honest it hasnt worked for me. i used it on my legs expecting soft hairless legs, however i still had hairs that were not removed.

i too want to know a way of effectively removing my hair!!

i shave but it doesnt last that long!!

Veet hair removal cream is rubbish, such a waste of money!

IMO you're much better off either waxing or epilating your legs- using hair removal cream is hassle, takes ages and doesnt last long.

The only hair removal cream I use is Nair, and I only use that on my bikini line, but it works really well

I heard the hair removal cream that you can supposedly leave on in the shower just washes off  As for hair removal cream in general, I just can't be bothered with it; it's such effort and I never seem to manage to get rid of all the hair :/

does nair actually work for the bikini line? i just wish we were born hair free!!

does hair removal cream get the bikini line area smoother than shaving? and does it irritate less? can you get any hair removal creams specifically for the bikini area?

Veet doesnt work very well. You have to leave the cream on for like 5 mins, depending on the thickness of your hair, then you use the spatula to wipe it off. It doesnt grow the hair back smooth, its like a shaver basically, hairs quite spiky.

Yer you don't the nicks or the bumps as much, however the cream eventually doesn't work as the hair gets thicker and used to it. Also the smell lingers for so so long no matter how much you wash. (It's like the smell of ink erasers or baby poo - even if you get one with supposedly nice smelling fruit oils!). You can get ones specifically for the bikini line....try waxing instead! It's brilliant!

Hi all :hello: (wow my first reply!! weird that it's talking bout hair removal! ) any how I'm alway on the quest for hair removal products, sorry to say but for me Veet is no good.

When I tried it on my legs not much hair came off and they felt sore, that was using the sensitive stuff too!

I've tried all sorts Veet, Nair, Nads, Hair no more and none have worked:mad:

Waxing hurts, cant do it myself so I get my sis to do it (sure she enjoys the torture!) but it gives the best result.

As for epilating that works too but its like having a slow wax! brill for under arm hair tho:top:

I've used Veet hair removal cream and it does work for me - although I've found it does tend to leave a couple of hairs. It leaves my legs feeling smooth, and the hair doesn't grow back as thick.
However, it is really annoying to do as it tends to get a bit messy!

The one for using in the shower, by the way, has to be applied before you get in the shower. If you don't leave it for long enough out of the shower, it'll probably take off hardly any hair, as the water washes the cream away pretty quickly.

Yes its much better, I dont get any rash or itching when it grows back. Shaving rash is awful, it must be the worst thing ever, which is why I never shave my bikini line :s-smilie: Nair leaves the skin really smooth, and it takes longer to grow back.

If you use it carefully you should be fine, you dont need to apply it all over, I just tend to apply round the actual 'knicker' line, if you know what I mean. You have to be careful with it as it can take a lot of hair off if you use too much of it in the wrong place.

Hair removal cream = waste of money and ineffective.

The stuffs great. I use it on my chest and it works a treat

I use hair removal cream and it always works fine.
Admittedly I do leave it on longer than the instructions say, but I've never had any problem doing that.
For me, it's really effective, lasts a long time, and is easier than trying to shave - I just put the cream on then sit and watch TV for 20 minutes or so, then wash it off (best done with the rougher side of a round sponge - not pressing too hard though).
I love the stuff. I don't shave anymore unless I've run out and not had the chance to get more.

Omg if that works that would be amazing... but.. I can imagine you need prolonged use of it..
Ah waxing still wins over everything else atm. And a shave every now and again when you can't afford to be a gorilla

i just shave...too wimpy and scared to use an epilator or wax.....!
