First Years/Any uni student, Did you enjoy uni this term?

I Didn't :frown:

I Failed in the social aspect, I never knew i could make friends and lose them in a week. I Blame Freshers because people thought i was a roadman because i was drunk everyday but instead they found out i was a boring nerd when sober.

My relationship with people have always been so socially awkward. Probably going to transfer to do a 2 year acclerated degree in september 2016

But anyway, did you lot enjoy this term? or are you thinking it's time to call it a day? Want to hear people thoughts :smile:

Nope. Will probably drop out and go uni near my home town instead next year. Moving out was such a waste of time and money. Completely overrated.

Only made one friend and had a cheating boyfriend. I love the course though, absolutely fantastic! I will miss studying at my uni, but yeah, I think it's time to call it quits.

You will transfer to second year or start first year again?

Sorry to hear this, it is overrated. I thought i had friends but then it was the Freshers thing really that boost me up. Plus me studying a integrated degree ruined the whole uni experience for me

YES!!! The course was a lot more challenging than I had imagined, but I love every single aspect of it. The tutors, the material itself, and tutorial discussions - everything!

Social life -as much as I can enjoy that is- has been great too. I'm actually already missing uni whilst home for Christmas :/

You lucky guy haha. are you first year?
I enjoyed my first term. Made a few close friends, best friends, and I liked my course. The only downside is that I didn't click with my flatmates, so I'm going to have to live with them for the rest of the year :P

Luck is definitely involved when it comes to the people you're living with in the flat/coursemates etc.

Yep - just finished my first term :biggrin:

By the way, don't give up trying. It's always awkward in the beginning. I know you're probably sick and tired of hearing this, but if you put in the effort it'll pay off! Best of luck!

Loved it so much.

First week was awful b/c bad at stranger socialising, but other than that everything's been amazing :biggrin:
