I am currently doing my EPQ project and it is weeks in now and i still have no idea how to answer my question!!
my question is: How the presentation of women in literature texts has changed from the 1400’s to now?
i am to look at approaches like Feminism
and i am looking at 2 poems and 2 novels: A thousand splendid suns- by khaled hosseini
wife of bathes- Chaucer
Sonnet 130- Shakespeare
and Phenomenal women- Maya Angelou
as well as mentioning Jane Austen-Emma and Charlotte Bronte- Jane Eyre

I AM LITERALLY FREAKING OUT I DO NOT KNOW HOW TO ANSWER THIS OR WHAT TO DO PLEASE OFFER ANY ADVISE!!!!!!

Hello,

Moved this to the English forum- so you should get a better response here

You've got a really broad subject and texts, so I guess the key will be to find the similarities in these texts and then link them out to wider concepts (such as feminism and historical changes in the status of women)...

You've also got some texts written by men, some written by woman. Maybe think about how (or if) the author's gender has a particular influence on how female characters are portrayed.

Hope this has helped a bit? Good Luck!
