Surrey or Bournemouth?

Hey all! i am just trying to decide on what university i should put as my insurance one. Exeter is my top firm choice, but i cant deicde for insurance. Iv heard a lot of bad things about Surrey but havnt actually been given a bad impression of the uni myself. :s-smilie:

any advice or help would be greatly appreciated! thanks! xx

One of my best friends is at Surrey studing biochemistry and she loves it there! Ive visted her a few times, I really like it (If they did my course I probobly would have applied there). Also - Guildford is a really nice town, awesome nightlife, quite scenic and close to london.

Ironically Ive heard a lot of bad things about Bournmouth :P but maybe I'm just biased.

I'm at Bournemouth now on my freshers week, and I already love this place. I come from London and am no stranger to clubs and bars, but the nightlife here is amazing, everyone here, locals and students, are always ready for a chat, and the area also looks really nice.
Mind you, it does depend on what you want to study. Bournemouth is the only centre of excellence for media in the country, so naturally those courses are what it excells at. However, it's not great for if you want to study a lot else.
Good luck wherever you choose, here's hoping you won't need an insurance choice. :smile:
