Anyone got any advice on good textbooks that explain and outline basic psychological and sociological models/theories? Just need this for first semester exams.

Feel free to chastise me for being a psychosoc swot.

There is literally a textbook called "Psychology and Sociology as Applied to Medicine"

Sociology as Applied to Medicine - Scambler. The only text you'll ever need for undergrad sociology as a medical student unless you intercalate in a relevant field and delve further. No idea about psychology though.

Dunno what medical school you're at but at mine I just read all of the lecture slides and regurgitated them into essays in the exam, no extra reading required for these subjects! The books are just dense with waffle anyway @[email protected] /shamelessly cynical about these things not just being common sense
