I want to study Policing at university

I can't find any threads on studying policing at uni. I want to pursue a career in the police and want to know where's the best uni and whether this course is worth doing

If you want a career in the police, have you considered joining the police force? You don't need a degree.

Northampton uni did such a course last time I knew about it.

I know a law graduate who has gone into the police. I think it was worth his while doing a more general degree before joining the police because it's always there for him to fall back on if policing isn't his forever thing.

But yeah you don't need a degree. You could apply tomorrow depending on your age. Some areas such as those in inner cities recruit more frequently due to a need for more staff so being willing to relocate can increase your chances.
