Engineering degree question.

Hey everyone.

I just got a quick question about my engineering degree.

Its a general engineering degree, not mechanical, civil, aerospace, its just a Engineering.

How do I focus my attention onto on area of engineering with this?

I'll want to go into one particular form of engineering, but I worry that this degree will be too general.

I can pick certain modules with in the degree, but still feel I need to Niche it down more.

Maybe its a matter of doing a masters,

Any advice on this would be great.

Which university is this? Are you sure you don't specialise towards the later half of your degree?
Which uni and course? You'll almost certainly get to choose modules which will dictate the area of your degree. It's quite normal.

Its with the Open University. Their Batchelors of Engineering.

Im a bit confused by it.

I can pick between -

1. Energy and sustainability
2. Engineering Design
3, Environmental Technologies
and
4. Mathematical Methods.

I will do one of these half way through.

So, not too clear on the path each one will take.

I'm edging towards 2. Engineering Design.

I'll have to have a chat with OU to see what they can suggest.
