I've broken 5 in my life, but on three separate occasions. Not broken anyone elses (to my knowledge).

Perhaps unsurprisingly, it felt painful.

I have broken 6 toes so far. 2 of them have fused so they don't bend any more and my big toe clicks when I walk. Big toe hurt the most and wouldn't walk for a week or two.

I once broke my wrist really badly. I actually heard the bones snap & the pain was a lot worse than anything I've ever felt before or since. I had to have the bones reset & my hand & forearm in plaster for about 3 months.
