Anyone at all? I think I'm all alone, you're all doing different board/syllabus to me...

Nope, me too. I like it for its ease but dislike it for its... ease.

Didn't know it was easy, but then again i've never tried any papers from other exam boards.

Which modules have you taken/are you taking?

For A-Level maths: Methods, P1, P2, P3, S1, D1
For AS further maths: M1, S2, P6

I've done all but S2 and P3, both on Wednesday. All As (or high B for M1) up to now.

I'm doing P3 on wednesday too.

I did Methods, P1, D1 last summer, P4 in January.

I did P5 last friday, and P2 yesterday (wednesday afternoon)

Got M2 and S1 next monday and P3 next wednesday.

I got As in everything so far except D1, I really hated that module.

How did you manage M2 with no M1?

It's a screwup of our school's maths system. Further maths is taught as an entirely different subject to normal maths, and the modules for each were decided independently... one class did D1, the other class did M1, I was just unlucky to be in the D1 class as the M1 class didn't fit my timetable.

I do A-level physics though, so there isn't a huge amount of extra stuff to learn, as all the stuff on gravitation, circles, and some of the stuff on momentum etc is on the AS or A2 physics syllabus anyway.

That's just as well then. I don't do physics and I preferred stats so S2 rather than M2 seemed the better choice. Other than that, no choices to make, good job too. P6 was a treat, you'd have liked it.

I'm doing it too. I fitted the whole A level in this academic year, with Methods, P1 and D1 in January and then P2, P3 and S1 this June.

How did you think P2 was on Wednesday by the way?

Absolutely gorgeous. I know of only one mark I could've dropped, a careless mistake. It all fell into place for me.

hahaha, similar situation here. I thought it was a difficult paper, in that not many people will have got high marks on it, but I think i only dropped one or two... I know a lot of my friends came out of the exam thinking it was terrible...

Not looking forward to having to do M2 and S1 back to back on Monday... I can do them both, but I'd rather have a pure and an applied rather than two applied modules... I find pure easier.

I'm on the same exam board..
I know this may seem an odd question but does anyone find P3 easier than P2? P2 exam last week went bad have to try and make up for it on the last two exams.

No, but a lot of my friends do. The only reason I find P2 easier is because I'd covered most of the material in year 12 for P4.
