Well most of the episodes were based around Light. Hence, why I was on his side.

It was my first anime. I've just got into anime last week. I am watching Monster now

Since it's written from his point of view, and you get a look into his thoughts etc, I can totally understand why you'd end up siding/sympathising with him. Having a main character who everyone hates probably wouldn't lead to a successful series, so a good anti-hero should make the reader/viewer feel that way. :p:

Ooh, good choice of first and second series! Monster should definitely appeal to a Death Note fan, though the pacing is a lot slower. It's worth all the build-up in the end, though.

For whoever's watched Death Note.
Who's side were you on? Light or L,M andN?

Personally, I was on Light's side

None of LMN. I would go with O

Hello,
I am planning on pulling an all-nighter or two, and was wondering if there are any good anime to watch from the past two seasons (didn't watch any of it). Any other good ones are also welcome.
The ones I have so far are:
Attack on Titan Season 2
Boku no Hero Academia Season 2

Any other good ones to watch at night?
Also if anyone knows any good horror anime. I've already seen Higurashi, Umineko, Another, Corpse Party, Serial Experiments Lain (long time ago)
Thanks

Hello! :wavey:

Last season was definitely dominated by strong sequels - aside from the two you've mentioned, I'd say Shingeki no Bahamut: Virgin Soul is a must-see, if you're willing to go back and watch SnB: Genesis first.

As for the non-sequels, for Spring I'd suggest Fukumenkei Noise, Seikaisuru Kado and/or Alice to Zouroku.

For Winter 2017, perhaps Little Witch Academia TV, Kuzu no Honkai and/or Youjo Senki.

And finally, general horror recommendations: Le Portrait de Petit Cossette, Shiki & Gakkou Gurashi!

I hope that's enough for an all-nighter or two. :p:

I gave Boruto a chance. The first few episodes endeared me but it's clearly setting itself to be a long running thing and I'm left unimpressed.

As you like shounen, I'd recommend Zero no Tsukaima, Kono Subarashii Sekai ni Shukufuku wo! (the second season came out recently) and Rokudenashi Majutsu Koushi to Akashic Records.
I tentatively recommend Dungeon ni Deai wo Motomeru no wa Machigatteiru Darou ka Gaiden: Sword Oratoria. It's a spin-off Dungeon ni Deai wo Motomeru no wa Machigatteiru Darou ka. I think it's an inferior anime to the main series which is 1 season long and hopefully ongoing but if you enjoy Dungeon ni Deai wo Motomeru no wa Machigatteiru Darou ka you may want to see what else happens in that Universe.

Kiseijuu: Sei no Kakuritsu (Parasyte -the maxim-) is a pretty good horror anime.

I'll add those to my very short list
I tried the first episode of Shingeki no Bahamuta a long time ago, but I didn't really like the graphics. I'll try to give it another go though.
I've heard good things about Little witch Academia.
I forgot about Gakkou gurashi! Didn't finish it. I'll finish it tonight :u: What a dark turn it took in the first episode
Thanks! This will definitely keep me busy. Can't wait to give them a go :h:

Haven't tried Akashic Records, or Sword Oratoria, so I'll add those to my list.
Thank you. Can't wait to give them a go :h:

there is a new fate series called fate/ apocrypha and it is an alternate reality to zero and fsn.

Essentially there will be 4 anime stories that will be released: heaven's feel, which is the final reality of the original FSN visual novel / game (fyi not my favourate and imo needs to be heavily censored); grand order is the first alternate reality and is essentially about something screwing up the timeline; fate apocrypha essentially is set in a reality where the holy grail disappeared after the 3rd war and the events of zero and fsn never happened; and fate extra i have no idea about

Lol I'll seem like a child for saying this, but I think the new yu-gi-oh series (Yu-Gi-Oh! Vrains) is actually really good. Better than Arc-V, Zexal and 5Ds. I didn't really watch Zexal or Arc-V as I got bored quickly.

You're quoting an old post from 2015 there... the member also happens to be banned, so they won't be telling you anything.

The series in question would have been 2015's Tokyo Ghoul √A, so it's been out a fair while!

Guys.. I managed to get my brother to watch Full Metal Alchemist Brotherhood.. and he really enjoyed it!

I've done myself proud!

 Now that exams are over, all I do is watch TV. I finished watching some TV series, and now I'm catching up to all the anime I missed. Apparently Tsuki ga Kirei is good, so gonna give that a go
