Nice to know! Been reading the manga and I'm nearing the end of the conviction arc. Hopefully, when Miura says Guts' will be in his black swordsman appearance he means that the conviction arc will get an adaptation, or at least anything beyond the golden age arc.

Would love to see the conviction arc animated though! :biggrin:

2016 is shaping up to be one hell of a year. I can think of so much I'm looking forward to!

Interested to know whether this will be a reboot or a continuation. I haven't watched the previous adaption but I know how highly rated the story is.

I'm pretty sure I'd love the manga, but I've held out on starting it as I don't want to be stuck waiting for new chapters while it goes from hiatus to hiatus. :p:

Hope everybody had a good Christmas! I had less in the way of anime and manga related gifts this year (opting instead for tea and fudge), but I did get a figurine of BakaTest's Kinoshíta Hideyoshi in a yukata. :biggrin:

I've heard some good things about Horimiya, and I've got a friend who loves it. I thought there was three episodes in its anime so far?
I finished MIrai Nikki and Toradora (which seems similar to Horimiya) yesterday, and now feel like I'm being crushed by this void of sadness :frown:

I am extremely knew to the anime scene, just joined forums like CrunchyRoll a few days ago and started watching Sword Art Online.

Recommendations would be appreciated, genre doesn't really matter to me at this point in time.

If you're already on Crunchyroll then I'll stick to series you can find on there, they've got a decent enough selection. :yes:

I'd suggest any of the following:

Fate/Zero - A brilliantly animated action/fantasy series, and part of a huge franchise.

Rokka no Yuusha - A gripping fantasy/mystery anime from a couple of seasons back.

Shin Sekai Yori - Only if you like horror!

Tegami Bachi - This one has a lovely setting and colour scheme.

Moyashimon - You said genre didn't matter, so how about science, agriculture and microbes? :p:

Trust me on this one!

It does?! I never knew! It is really good, wish they would update it faster >.< I've seen a few episodes of Toreador, it's quite interesting, it's on my list of anime I still need to finish. Mirai Nikki left me feeling empty too after finishing it ;-;
