What I would love to know: have you ever watched Samurai Champloo? have so much heard about this anime, should be a must have for anime watchers who like episodes about Samurais. So, what's the what?

Yes, I watched that quite early in my time as an anime fan, and it's still in my Top 50 list. Highly recommended!

No real surprise, but we now have definite confirmation of a 4th series of Symphogear!

Slightly more surprising, a 5th series has also been green lit. :zomg:

I gave up with this series after the second season because I found it rather average by the end. Worth continuing?

Started watching GATE after a long period of no anime because I barely get any free time anymore because of all the studying I'm doing. It seems pretty good though and it's keeping me coming back from the first 2 eps, which is actually pretty rare for me. I normally don't finish most series that I start.

I've enjoyed all three series so far, though the third was probably my favourite, due to the fantastic villains. I enjoy the over-the-top action, and the music is pretty good too, but I agree the plot is fairly average. :p:

Got a great shop in my hometown and very close to work that sells all sorts of anime junk. Accidentally bought a volume of 'with the light' manga from clearance when I wandered in today. I never buy anything!

Hmm, in that case, I'll add the third season to my never ending list of anime to watch.

Another anime series that I've neglected and need to resume at some point. :sadnod:

Even on the 12th place, so almost top 10. On occasion, I will watch it, but before that, I am watching Samurai 7 till the end.
UK Netflix now has Shigatsu wa Kimi no Uso and all of Aldnoah Zero.
I'll be away from Friday until late Monday at Minamicon, likely without internet the whole time, but who can say for certain. Is anybody else here going?

I'll be taking my tablet with a load of anime and Kindle with a load of manga for the journey; will probably finish off Irresponsible Captain Tylor, and maybe start Samurai 7 next since it's been on my backlog forever, and @Kallisto seems to be enjoying it!

That is nice. Watch it, just watch it! the first four episodes of Samurai 7 convince you, I am so sure.

Think I said this last year but no i'm afraid not  too far for me really. I keep meaning to get to Telford, or perhaps i'll see if I can get to comic con in my city (Sheffield) which judging from pics had loads of anime stuff. Be cool to go but since the student life ended it's impossible to arrange anything with friends who are into this stuff.

On the bright side I finished the 1st season of GATE. In short it's not bad - the opening episodes were solid, middle was a bit squiffy at times but it recovered nicely.

As I mentioned a few weeks ago in your thread, Viewster or especially Animax are your best bet for legal streams, but be prepared to trawl through a lot of sub-only shows to find them since there's no filter (as far as I can see).

As for unlicensed streaming sites, it'd be against the rules of the site to list any, so please don't do that anybody. But Google seems pretty effective at finding them.
Hey, Angryjellyfish: Did you have watched Samurai 7 yet? if you know Akira Kurosawa's film about seven Samurais, you know too how the Anime is structured.
