Here's the only example I can find for voice comparisons:

Don't know if it's intentional since she's not human, but Yuki's line sounds exactly the same every time she says it. I wouldn't be surprised if all of her lines were reused since she doesn't say anything different.

After a week of talking to myself, I got bored and brought back the Anime Caption Thread. :blow:

I'm going through a bit of a detox moment again after watching 30+ episodes in like a week  Although I watched ep.3 of Haifuri - what did you think? :colone:

Endless 8  bleh, watching that as it aired was a chore. Allegedly according to a news site at the time the team hated working on it. :hmmmm2:

More intensity, decent naval battles... also plenty of cute moe stuff such as Mashiro's shark pillow and room, which (while amusing) meant the episode didn't end on as interesting a note as the 2nd ep. I'm still enjoying it a lot though. How about you?

I'm still enjoying it! We've had a battle every week (unlike the shameful Arpeggio of Blue Steel) and nothing is annoying me yet (unlike Arpeggio of Blue Steel) it's looking like it might keep up the good work as well.
I just found out that Magi: Sinbad no Bouken's first episode has been out for a few days - missed it as I was searching for 'magi', while the sub group just called their release Sinbad no Bouken. :sigh: So I'll be posting my thoughts in the Spring preview thread later.

Noticed my Hard drive is getting full (You never think you'll fill these when you get them:afraid:) ... So Im gonna watch some of the films ive had downloaded for years. :yeah: Gonna start with the tiger & bunny one. :teeth:

EDIT: I forgot how blatent and yet integral the product placement/ advertising was. especially for pepsi, it so :adore:s it.

EDIT2: Yeah it was pretty good, new scenes in alot of places made it not a rehash of the first half of the series.

also I found the first AMV I ever watched. :h: I downloaded it on the old p2p sharing pre torrent thingy... kazaaa I think:hmmmm: its even got the creators geocities page. Think i saw it ...11 years ago?

I *think* my first AMV was Elvis vs Anime. I recognize a lot more of the characters and series now than I did then. :giggle:

Looking for some Anime suggestions :colondollar:

Been really enjoying the psych/horror genre with stuff like Mirai Nikki, Another, and Higurashi no Naku Koro ni at the moment, and was wondering if anyone had any suggestions of other Animes to have a look at?

Hello!

If you don't mind ongoing series, I'd recommend Big Order (which shares its original manga author and most of the same anime staff as Mirai Nikki), or Mayoiga (a survival mystery series from the same director as Another. Huge cast of ~30 characters). There's only 3 - 5 episodes of those out at the moment, though.

In terms of complete series, I'd recommend Shiki, Rokka no Yuusha and/or Elfen Lied, all psychological, mystery and/or horror series, and all from my all-time favourites list.

Thanks so much! :h:

I watched and loved Elfen Lied out of those, and the others all look very interesting - I'll definitely make sure to check some or all of them out :cute: thanks again!

if you like fantasy elements, id recommend fate zero (and maybe follow up with 1 of the fate/stay night animes).
As usual, now that we're nearing the middle of the anime season, I'm thinking of dropping one or two Spring shows that I'm watching, and giving second chances to some of the ones I skipped instead.

Here's everything that's on my list at the moment. The ones I was thinking of checking out again are Boku no Hero Academia, Kuromukuro, Hundred and Seisen Cerberus, so I'd be interested to hear other people's thoughts on them so far. Or, if you want to make a strong case for any other Spring series, I'll take them into consideration as well.

It appears the major cinema chain in my city alongside 2 local cinemas are all showing a wide variety of Ghibli films from now until the summer. It's all unrelated which is odd but I can't complain as i'll finally be able to watch the last few that I missed due to boring real life commitments!

I'm enjoying it so far but there's a big cast and, even at episode 6, we're still at a bit of an introductory phase, so it's difficult to say whether it's good or not right now.

Watched the first ep of Gundam Iron Blooded Orphans. Liked it :yep: did that common lore thing gundam does where they quickly hammer in the countries political situation with all the name dropping. :giggle:
