Looking forward to your preview as per AJ. Hope there is something decent coming up

EDIT: Just in time for the secret santa i've just finished Highschool of the Dead. Seems to be a slight guilty pleasure of mine as it happens  probably because I went in with no expectations after seeing the famous boob physics scene  Is there any reasonable explanation as to why

Spoiler

Don't worry about watching all your series before the new year! You can always watch them after

In line with TSR's rules on copyright, the only streaming sites I can suggest are the legal ones: Crunchyroll, Daisuki, Viewster, Funimation Now and The Anime Network.
Followup for Koutetsujou no Kabaneri announced for 2018. :blow:

I mean, I'll probably end up watching it if it's a TV anime, because the first series was so pretty, but it was a hell of a mess towards the end. :erm:
:tumble:

Trailer for Studio Ponoc's debut work, Mary to Majo no Hana:

All the main staff are former Ghibli staff, and it certainly shows. :zomg:
Happy Birthday to this thread! :yay: I made an AMA thread to shamelessly promote the society. So far, we've gained zero new members and zero new posts as a result. :yay: But feel free to ask any questions there if you want, might as well flip things on their head and promote the one that's doing well instead. :p:

Yay Happy Birthday

Been spending most of my free time on FFXV recently :pinch:

My secret santa:

Nanatsu no Taizai - Had this recommended to me before looks interesting
Your Lie in April - Looks right up my street :yep:
Psycho Pass 2 - Must have seen Psycho Pass on my want to watch list  I'll start with S1 first.
BONUS Magi: Labrynth of Magic - Stalled fairly close to the end, will start from fresh when I finish the other 3.

You got a bonus series! :zomg: If I didn't already have three others from taking part in the A-P one as well, I'd be jealous. :sadnod:

My Secret Santa:
Now and Then, Here and There - An oldish series that I would never have found/watched. Interesting premise so far.
Kino no Tabi -Like above it seems to be an older series. I've been enjoying watching it, certainly like nothing i've seen before. I imagine this will be the winner of my 3 picks
Wildcard: Thunderbolt Fantasy - I haven't watched this yet sadly :frown: although it certainly does look like a wildcard pick!

Just discovered a new anime. It's called Yuri on Ice. It's gay. Watching it while procrastinating at the library. Hope there's no porny scenes.

Well it airs on TV, there are limits to how explicit they can go on there... though they probably pushed those limits at the end of episode 10. :p:
Reposting my Secret Santa gifts in this thread, since everyone else is. First review maybe later this evening, tomorrow at the latest.

Ghost Stories - Yes, the one with the deliberately terrible English dub. My purist side wants to watch and rate this based on the original script, but I know I'll have more fun with ADV's adult take on things... We'll see how it goes.

Tonari no Seki-kun - 8 minute episodes. I should be able to manage this before Christmas if nothing else, but I'll try and get the full-length ones done ASAP as well! I don't usually sample the first episodes of shorts each season, so this one's all new to me.

Log Horizon - This series should appeal to me, it ticks all the right genre boxes and is generally highly rated, but the early episodes bored me for some reason when it first aired. :s: Either way, I'll be giving the full series a look now, hopefully it'll grow on me.

Overall, a great selection! I'd say you beat my A-P Santa at this point, whoever you are... whether I'll still be saying that after watching them remains to be seen. :p:

I've never posted in this thread before but ep 12 of Yuri on Ice airs today and I am more anxious and anticipatory than Yuuri whenever he sees katsudon ngl.

I don't usually read many light novels; I usually have one space in my reading list reserved for them, but I'm keeping that open for Rokka no Yuusha's English release in April. Haruhi Suzumiya is keeping its seat warm in the meantime, but I've given up on seeing a 12th novel for that series. :moon:
