essentially its because of waiting for so many series to get animated that ill be leaving my anime fandom in <1 month. I cant be asked waiting for so many series to be animated and would rather channel time into something else. currently Im just waiting for iron-blooded orphans to finish (as well as another one) at the end of the month and will probably keep watching DBS till it finishes

Yeah, I know what you mean. Currently, I am only watching Twin Star Exorcists, but I am waiting for season 2's of some anime. I just watch a few episodes a week now. It takes up so much time to watch loads of anime
I find that if I pick up enough new series each season ('enough' being about 34 this Winter), I'm kept busy and entertained enough that long waits for sequels that may or may not happen don't bother me. :dontknow:
I have such a great interest in watching very old animes recently. Especially the ones which I have watched in childish years long time ago. These ones are very familar to me.

tbh, because I have so many interests, I guess its only natural for me to tone down on them the older I get. with motorsport for example, I used to be into way too much, now its just f1, f2, wec, super gt and blancpain.

on top of that most anime I have been interested in have finished or taking a while to animate. most newish anime im not a fan of and I have other things in my life I need to divert focus towards

A post from me to say that I'm still alive. I've become more of a lurker these days, though.

Anime wise, I've definitely cut down on the amount I'm watching. Gone are the days where I used to regularly watch over 30. There was that one time in 2003 where I watched 45 anime series simultaneously and started to think that characters from one anime were in another. Anyway, without digressing too much, my reduction has nothing to do with my lack of enjoyment, but more due to priorities and a lack of time. A part of me wishes I could go back 17 years to when I was 16 with no commitments and responsibilities, binging entire days on anime.

So, in terms of what I'm watching and enjoying at the moment, in no particular order:

Shouwa Genroku Rakugo Shinjuu: Sukeroku Futatabi-hen
ACCA: 13-ku Kansatsu-ka
Little Witch Academia
Gabriel Dropout
Kuzu no Honkai
Youjo Senki
Sangatsu no Lion
Fuuka
Masamune-kun's Revenge
Ao no Exorcist: Kyoto Fujouou-hen
One Piece

haha it's been so long that I think I've forgotten the twist . On another note, could u recommend me any psychological anime. I'm a huge fan of stuff like steins gate, death note, code geass, parasyte, mirai nikki, psycho pass , zankyou no terror etc. You seem like the anime King here so I'm sure you'd have something for me😀😀

Both of which are pretty damn good and haven't seen mentioned

You're quoting a pretty old post there, not sure FlareBlitz is still around to see it...

:h:I know exactly what you mean. My life used to be school, anime and maybe sleep some days:biggrin:
I couldn't get into any of the anime this season, but will probably try again after my exams finish

Haha, sleep some days. Exactly like me. Even after I graduated and started working full time, I had the sacred weekends to look forward to. I don't even have those to myself anymore. Of course, I was too embarrassed to admit to my colleagues that I was planning to devote the entire weekend to anime and not much else back then. In fact, I even booked a week off for annual leave with no plans to travel anywhere or to do much else than to watch anime. Sad, I know. Good luck with your exams.

Yh, I loved it soooo much
It was genuinely really good, I'm just waiting for the next season

Me before: Had time to go to school, get good grades, play games, watch every single anime I wanted, and follow 10+ anime per season
Me now: Barely has time to sleep

It's just that anime allows you to escape reality. And I was also embarrassed to tell my friends before, but now... I got a lot of my friends into anime:biggrin: so I can just talk to them about it. Also, thank you for the luck... hopefully I'll meet my offer:smile:
Once exams finish, I know what I'll be doing for the next 3 months:h:

Tell me about it:^_^:. I barely just managed to get good grades. Now, I don't get a chance to watch a lot. I tried watching Little Busters yesterday, but fell asleep before episode 3. At least once I finish my A levels, I'll have a few months to watch anime before uni starts:smile:

Nice plan! What A-levels are you doing and what university and course did you pick? :h:

I doubt I will have the time to watch anime in the summer, to be honest. :s-smilie:

I will have my final exams and be at work full-time during the summer. I also have to make preparations for my arrival to the UK (find a place to rent and all that) and I need to catch up on some reading in order to get ready to start my degree.

Time is against my passion for anime! At least part of my university degree will be Japanese, so maybe I will finally reach my dream of understanding anime without subtitles once I finish university :daydreaming:

Japanese as a part of your degree?...Lucky! Any anime you will re-watch after learning Japanese?

Yep! I will study International Relations and Strategy and International Security with Japanese at Exeter :daydreaming:

I do not rewatch, so none.
