Full of nothingness.

Surely that's dependant on the person? If it's something he enjoys, it's not nothing to him.

Ok, well what do you predict code geass r3 and the death note drama to entail?

It's been a while since I've watched both (when they were airing), but I'm sure there will be plenty of revelations when Code Geass returns. Sorry I can't be more specific than that. :p:

Reflecting back on the last season, the second season of Boku no Hero Academia was definitely my favourite. It was battle shounen done right and Bones did an excellent job adapting the manga, as you'd expect.

On the other hand, while I looked forward to watching the second season of Attack on Titan each week, I was slightly disappointed by the pacing and expected more, given how great the first season was. It still had its moments, though.

Lastly, my biggest surprise was Quan Zhi Gao Shou. I was not sure what to expect from a Chinese manhua adaptation, but it ticked all of the boxes for me. My only personal gripe was having to rely on subtitles for this one.

Considering I wasn't overly fussed on the first series of Boku no Hero Academia (it got good, but only towards the end after a very mediocre first half), S2 was definitely the biggest surprise of last season for me. I'm absolutely loving it! Though, I'm a sucker for tournament arcs. :p: Hopefully this next arc will be as good.

My #1 for last season has to be Shingeki no... Bahamut S2! With Attack on Titan's sequel being a close second. :giggle:

Regarding Quan Zhi Gao Shou, now you know how we all feel! Though given that I've picked up a fair bit of Japanese casually through watching anime all this time, I interestingly felt more of a reliance on the subs than usual myself. :o: It was an alright series to watch on the side, though I found the protagonist just a bit too infallible/unbeatable, so not as interesting as he could have been if he'd been made to struggle at times.

He is a fountain of unnecessary information. That is not to say that he can carry on with his hobby but it is abit far fetched to be in your 30's and write on TSR about anime. To each their own really.

And yeah, that's something we definitely have in common. I'm incredibly passionate, obsessive even. But hey, it's these very obsessions that makes waking up in the morning worthwhile.

On another note, I find your alias 'meshy' very cute. The avatar helps.

Thanks

I find his advice on Anime/Manga rather useful and so have many others, just because you cannot comprehend what he knows or why he loves Anime this much, does not give you justification to start throwing childish insults.
His conversations and anime/manga threads have brought joy to many of us on TSR,something you might not see or appreciate.
I dont see anything far fetched about this, your criticism is just as silly to me as people who think video games is something only for kids and teens.
Why do Tories love ruining people fun ?
If you want to be welcome on this thread, try to be respectful of others and not go around attempting to belittle others.

Yeah, even though I liked the first season, I'm definitely enjoying this one more. I guess you could say it's found its stride. I'm also a sucker for tournament arcs. It helps that all of the characters are likeable (even Bakugo is warming to me).

I didn't watch the second season of Shingeki no Bahamut as I stalled the first season after a few episodes. Worth continuing then?

I also enjoyed the second season of Saekano and Eromanga Sensei, the latter of which fell short of my initial expectations.

My guilty pleasures of the season were Busou Shoujo Machiavellianism (I honestly loved this) and Love Tyrant (I loved this a bit less).

I love overpowered protagonists. It's like... my thing. I mean, I've watched Mahouka Koukou no Rettousei four times for a reason.

Time certainly flies, scarily so. :frown:

Is it true the third season of Attack on Titan will be 25 episodes as some people are saying ?
some are saying the Battle of Shiganshina district will be included but for me the arc involving Historia Reiss is very long and i feel too many people are underestimating how long it will take.

It is not that I can't comprehend understanding anime. It is that I'd rather not waste hours of my time on anime where as I can use to for useful debate and knowledge expansion. You are inherently a fool by associating Tory's with one's humour and the arbitrary boundaries of "fun." Finally, child, I am allowed to express my opinion however and where ever I want so long as it does not offend others. The individual's profile name whom I have just forgotten, had a positively bland reaction to it yet yours is one of spite. Listen, stop watching too much Code Geass and Death Note, you are out of your depth. Case in point, you are unable to correctly construct a sentence.

Yeah, the teaser they released suggests it'll be two cours. Hopefully, that'll be the case.

I think that it may be extended because if it catches enough attention and popularity, it will be economically viable to do it as the company would like to extract as much profit as they can.

Definitely, in my opinion at least. While the first series was a solid and hilarious fantasy adventure series (and the characters are amazing), the sequel has been far darker, and far superior plot-wise.

I watched and enjoyed both of those! I preferred Machiavellianism though, it was refreshing to see a series where male and female martial artists fought each other all-out, without holding anything back. Love Tyrant was alright, but I preferred the earlier episodes and their focus on creating new couples... a plot device that seemingly went up in smoke along with Guri's original Kiss Note. :giggle:

My true guilty pleasure of the season was far more shameful though, Sin: Nanatsu no Taizai. :o:

I'm pretty sure that's all speculation at the moment; aside from the announcement of the new series at the end of the 2nd, there hasn't been any info reported on Anime News Network (which is one of the few sites I consider trustworthy). We only found out that S2 was twelve episodes right before it aired, so I wouldn't be surprised if the length of S3 remains unknown until 2018 too.

Funny you talk about arbitrary boundaries when deciding whether watching hours of anime is wasteful or not is also arbitrary.
To quote Betrand Russell "Time you enjoy wasting is not wasted time ".
Love your Ad Hominem attacks by addressing me as a child and focusing on stuff irrelevant to our discussion such as structure of sentences, does it make you feel superior ?
Out of my depth on what, you seem the one out of your depth, coming here and attacking one of our most knowledgeable members on anime and for what ?
And I will express my opinions and say when I feel members are acting in a distasteful fashion.
Now I throw the gauntlet and suggest we close our discussion on this matter right now.

One year to make 25 episodes ?I am worried this will affect the quality of the episodes produced. Not to mention I am worried we will be getting too close to the manga if Season 3 ends with the Battle of Shiganshina district.

Yeah, indeed. Television ratings are usually the biggest factor to determine whether it's worth continuing, but because Attack on Titan airs late at night, the ratings are pretty low (this is typically the case for all late night anime, barring Noitamina). In fact, most late night anime are effectively infomercials to promote their manga/light novel counterparts. If manga sales increase exponentially off the back of this anime adaptation, we can be pretty confident that it'll be extended for the foreseeable future.

Are we really arguing about Anime? In what respect is was my previous comment "Ad Hominem"? Did I ever mention a superiority complex or did I utilise your lack of proper grammar to form an argument? Did I ever ask you not to express your opinion? You are a person of contradiction.
I forgot to mention that the individual in question is in their late 20's and most likely would not require a 16-19 year old to make their argument.
