EMA-exam period

Quick question:

Do you still receive EMA payments during study leave, exams and on the return back to lessons during July? Are there any more bonuses during this academic year?

I'm not on EMA so don't quote me but I'm pretty sure my friends last year got a July bonus & EMA during the exams...

just to confirm what has been said, i was on EMA last year and i got paid through exams and when i went back, and you get a bonus in june sometime.

You only get EMA if you have an exam that week and go in for it, so you 'attend' your exam sorta thing. So if you don't have any exams in a particular week you wont get it for that week.

But you get in during the A2 bit you go back for, and a bonus in Sept for returning to college yay!

well i got ema last year and i am getting it atm and i talked to the teacher in charge of ema and she said if i turn up to my exams i will get the weekly money but after my exams i will also get it without having to go into college every week, also a bonus is avaliable if your attendance etc is fine

but yes you will recieve ema during study leave even if you dont have exams cos that wouldn't be fair if your exams were closer together than other people
