Royal Marines- Eyesight requirement
Was wondering whether anyone knows the eyesight requirement for the royal marines. i wear contact lenses and am really considering a career in the marines, would be annoying if i couldnt join because of this lol.

I'm in a similar position. Have a look at the marine forum on here. There are a few threads that detail the requirements although unless you're an optician I doubt it will mean much. Best to take it along when you next have an eye test.

I have applied for the Royal Marines as a Comissioned Officer hopefully 45Cdo - Mountain and Cold Weather Warfare!
I have 20/20 vision so i have never needed 2 pay attention to it but i needs to b pretty good, my mate failed cos both his eyes wernt the same (some allowence allowed)!
