I have never even heard of Chichester, but I really liked Winchester when I was going through prospectuses last year.. Sorry, all I can say, really.
One of my English teachers went to Chichester - she said it was absolutely brilliant - great social life, and was brilliantly supported by her tutors etc. Plus, from what she said, they have some great theatre/film other arts combinations to take with the English degree.

Best of luck.

Hi,
I'm afraid I don't know anything about the courses but I live near Winchester and it is a really, really fantastic place with loads to do and it is a very beautiful city, easy access to London as well.

45 minutes!? what car do you have?
you're right, it is very small, but there is a lot going on and it is a fairly bustling place with a vibrant social scene and a wide choice of pubs and bars and don't forget its only 45-60 mins from London on the train. It is a very very nice place as well and a lot of the social scene goes on in the cathedral grounds with a great atmosphere.
