When I lived in Clifton in first year we saw some of the Teachers cast quite a lot hanging about. Including the fit guy who everyone fancies looking reeeeally rough in Tesco express. Also Casualty people, everywhere, but sadly I don't watch any of those hospital dramas so I'm missing out on that one. Except I do know the guy who used to be Finn in Hollyoaks, I've seem him on Park Street a few times and stood next to him at a Bloc Party gig at the Academy. I've seen Derren Brown in Clifton village, he's an ex student and I think perhaps he has a place there. Also the Skins cast, naturally. Supposedly Sid (the guy with the glasses) works in Topman in Broadmead (my friend swears!!) and has been spotted in Propaganda, and I passed by the Cassie girl walking down my road in Redland. Star-studded, we are.

Her from Big Brother nearly ran my over and works in Clifton Village. The Welsh one. Half-man, half-lion and total moron Justin Lee Collins always seemed to be walking up and Park Street shouting and talking with his hands as if he was half way funny. That was about it. Sadly. ;_;

My mate saw Tony Robinson in Sainsbury's, Robert Winston's been seen, Adam Hart-Davis lives in Bishopston and gets seen around (and gives a lecture to the 3rd year Engineers), as do that woman from Brainteaser who does Points West, and Nick Knowles, him off of DIY SOS.

Nick Knowles is immense. DIY SOS ftw! Same goes for that African thing he's doing now.

Would be pretty cool to see Hart-Davis too.

My friend saw Dara O'Brien in Quigley's after we'd seen him at Colston Hall.
Oh, my flatmates also seen those 2 of the friday night project and Russell Howard, one of the guys off Mock the Week.

JLC like twice looking like a complete tramp

J.L.C., once, on Park Street. I wasn't awe-struck, so much as apprehensive that he should be permitted to traverse the same rights-of-way as real people.

Micheal Eavis in the Hatchet before a Kings of Leon gig.

Saw Justin Lee Collins at Temple Meads

I wanna see Leanne from Shipwrecked :frown:

Carol Vorderman lives in Clifton now apparently
I saw Justin Lee Collins too- that guy gets around!!

And Derren Brown too (apparently he did a gig at Goldney ages ago, someone heckled him and he stormed off stage!).

Apparently Lianne and Ben Lunt from Shipwrecked are around quite a lot too.

I'm still pretty desperate to see the legend that is Tony Robinson.

Oh yeeeah totally forgot that I've also seen JLC and Brainteaser woman!! Nick Knowles I've seen driving around, he asked me for directions in Clifton, but the weird thing is I've also seen him twice in my home town, and I think he almost recognised me. Anddd I don't know if anyone's tragic enough to have watched it but remember Playing It Straight?! Well Marco (from the final) is everywhere, I first met him at Hunger Hatch when he came up to me and said "your hair is lovely" (pipe down db, clearly he's a ginger fan), but he also works in the gym and is now a Syndicate bouncer.
I suppose Noel Edmonds doesn't count as I deliberately went to the DOND studio to see him, right?
I don't think you're a true Bristol University student until you've see Justin Lee Collins in Bristol :p:
Friends of mine have seen Bam Margera and the CKY crew a few years ago and went to talk to them. OBVIOUSLY I also know someone who's seen JLC. I've never really seen anyone famous in Bristol, but I saw Barry from Eastenders coming out of a Domino's in Weston Super Mare, and when I was working in Waterstones in Bath I served Nicholas Cage! Also my girlfriends and their mates have gone into Topman and saw Sid, a friend of mine apparently got beaten up by Sid in Bristol...
Oh wait, and also there have been countless sightings of Johnny Depp in Bath, as he lives there.

Part of the last episode of Skins was filmed in the house next door to me. They paid us £20 to use our drive to put up a buffet table from which we stole many foods. We spent the money on a lovley Christmas dinner

Apart from that I once met Steve Leonard (vet/natural history presenter), he came to give a talk to students in the bio building.

i have spotted profesh also.
and JLC walked into me in waitrose.
