I thought about pursuing a career in medicine, but I'm not sure anymore. I've had a look at chemical engineering and it says it includes a lot of maths, which surprisingly I enjoy.

What do you know/think about chemical engineering, anything I should know about the course and the career pathways of it?

I'm in year 11 at the moment, but I've chosen maths and all 3 sciences.

Might be worth also looking at Biomedical engineering, Bioengineering and Systems engineering if you're somewhat interested in medicine

Agree with Jlou, although a passion for what you can do with it + if maths is your favourite subject (and your good at it) = insanely rewarding. In the long term too

I'm a Chem eng second year and there's a lot of maths in the course, a lot of physics but weirdly hardly any chemistry, just a little in first year. I find the course quite boring to be honest, as do a lot of people I know and it's also very hard and challenging but it's quite a good degree to have. I'd definitely say look more into it because it's very tedious if you're not interested in it!
