NHS Plastic Surgery

Do you guys know whether the NHS do plastic surgery, in this case a nose job, for what is in effect a cosmetic reason. Ever since I came off my bike a few years ago, my nose has been crooked and it is slightly larger than normal by nature, this crookedness only adds to the unsightliness.
My main reason for wanting it fixed is psychological, I can't stand talking to people because I am paranoid that they are looking at me like this, I have hereditary acne also, but I am taking another course of roaccutane for it.
I've tried all the confidence boosting things recommended, but I can't overcome the feeling of actually hating myself just because of these imperfections. I have contemplated forcibly breaking my nose so they had to at least realign it, but I couldn't bring myself to do it.
I kept putting up with it by telling myself that there are people with far worse disfigurements, and for that I do feel quite ashamed, but I can't keep telling myself that anymore and I really can't move on with people.
I doubt whether this is a strong enough case for NHS surgery, what do you think?

Thanks for your time.

"To receive cosmetic surgery from the NHS, you will normally need a referral from your GP. You will have a consultation with a plastic surgeon and an assessment by a psychiatrist or psychologist.

It will then be decided if there is enough social, psychological or physical benefit to be gained to justify surgery. Cosmetic surgery can greatly improve quality of life."

I found this, you should fit all those criteria really...in the most non-offensive way possible...
Go see ur gp

Yeah my GP is one of the kindest men I know, so I'll give him a try. Thanks for your help guys
on the nhs? not a hope in hell.

if you want a nose job you'll have to go private unless your nose disfigurement can be shown to be causing physical breathing problems or sleep problems.

The NHS is having a hard enough time providing life-saving treatment for the people who need it, I don't see why they should bother with your nose and the psychological problems associated with it.

to be honest (and not to sound rude or mean) I hope they dont. I had to wait 4 months to get an actual broken nose fixed in which time i couldnt even breathe out my nose.

The NHS is really not for things like this especially in its current state
