A2 Identity Case Study (AQA)

For my case study I’ve decided to look at fan culture, my texts are the following:
Harry Potter Fandom
Game of Thrones Fandom
Miley Cyrus Fandom (just for the controversial stuff)
And then I’m thinking of looking at the fan culture of GTA and the effect that has.

However I’m struggling to find stuff for this topic, I was thinking of mainly looking at social networking websites and the effect they have, and then look at why these texts have such a large following and how they have effected people’s identities but I feel like that’s wrong?

HELP!
