Me and my girlfriend are both 20 and have been together for nearly 2 years.

Recently we've been having a bit of (but not major) rough patch whilst she's been away over Christmas. We were talking this morning and the conversation went like this:

Her: I'd love to go away with you to a hotel for a night.
Me: Yes definitely, we need that right now.
H: Yes we do, but where?
M: I'll figure it all out and get back to you okay? I'll pay.
H: okay but somewhere good! No travelodge, no premier inn, no hostels.
M: don't worry babe it'll be somewhere decent.

im confused, whats your reaction to this?

if its your response to her request, i'd say thats completely normal of a person to do. especially since you're going through a rough patch, i'd recommend you two spending some quality time together as a means of resolving matters
