Can you retake a GCSE you sat in November in June?

I'm in Year 11 and I sat my English language GCSE in November 2015. The exam board was CIE..we get our results back on January sometime, however, I think I did very badly on it and I want to take English lang for my A-Levels. Is there any possible way that I could re-sit it in June when I do my English literature exam and all my other GCSEs?

Thanks

You can. If you re-sit you can carry forward the written coursework and/or the speaking and listening but you have to re-sit the exam. The entry fee is about £50 which your school may expect you to pay. The entry deadline is 21 February.
