Bank account and job

I'm currently looking for a job when I find one what do I do I haven't got a bank account only everyday saver with halifax. Whch type of bank account do I need to setup and what details do I need to give to the employer and how will I give them?
I can't open a current account with halifax as I haven't reached the minimum age...
All banks should have a young persons bank account you can open? Talk to Halifax. You need an account which accepts something called BACS payments.

You need to give (when you receive the details) your employer your sort code and your account number.
