It looks like your teacher has already put in the answer for you.
Mg reacts with the ethanioc acid to form ethanoate ions and hydrogen gas in a redox reaction.
From a balanced equation, 0.5 mol of ethanoic acid is turned into 0.5 mol of ethanoate ions.
So if the original concentration of both was 1 mol per dm3, then the new concentration of the ethanoate ion is 1.5, and of the acid is 0.5.
Now you use the buffer solution equations to find the pH.
