Hi all,
I'm a really good looking young man, but don't know what to do.
Should I be a player or settle down?
Thing is, I feel a long-term relationship is too restrictive at my age, but would really like to experience one.
But I would feel really tight on ending it with the girl on the basis of not wanting to settle down, especially if it lasted longer than 6 months.
And I know that being a "player" is considered bad by some people but then ending relationships that you don't feel comfortable in would make me feel equally as bad.
So?

You don't sound like you're ready for a long-term relationship yet. It's only fair that you make that clear to any person you get involved with.
But that's just it: I don't want to be penned in by a relationship at barely 20 years of age.

Right, that's a smart idea. Go to uni, start a relationship with someone, sleep around at the same time...
University is a big fat gossip mill. Do you honestly think people won't find out? And when they do and start talking, you won't be able to have either.
Look, if you don't want to be in a relationship, don't be. If all you want is a one night stand, and make that clear, there's no shame in it. You only become an object of female hatred when you start leading girls on and messing them about.

You won't get alot of respect doing that, more likely you will get a nice slap.
You wont get much respect by bedding the whole female population of your halls of res either, I wouldn't think.
