The human equivalent of a zoo. But without people being able to see in!

Indeed. A zoo with no fences where the big animals can stamp all over the smaller, defenceless creatures.

With respect to the economy (assuming a communist country operates a command economy):

Results in allocative and productive inefficiency as the state does not produce at lowest average cost and is slow to allocate resources in response to consumer demands. Therefore economically bad.

Who cares? The proletariat matter, not money. Get your priorities right.

Dialectics are important. Many opposers forget about permanent revolution (yes this is trotskyism). It is far more democratic (if that word isn't too loaded with bourgeois ideology). it has problems dealing with abstract ethics. Just a few thoughts.

Economics isn't strictly money. Economics is about the proletariat too. They tend to enjoy better living standards in market economies.

New Labour is definitely NOT socialist, it is right-wing. Not once in their first five years has Blair used the word "socialism" publicly.

what are you chatting about? Communism by definition must be a global phenomenon. Yes it can start in one country but it relies on everyone being part of the communist system. Get reading.

It's not meant to be anything. It's a political party looking for the power of government, and by neglecting its left core it has achieved this.

The collapse of communism in Eastern Europe has forced Labour to lose the stigma associated with socialism.

True communism can never be achieved, there will always be someone at the top who will be ruling.

Do you know what facism is? It's quite a strong label to put on something! You may disagree with Blair's policies but he isn't a facist.
