    Has anyone had a twacher who marks coursework really strictly? My physics teacher is awful. My other science courseworks are A*, my physics just as good and he gives me B. *******!

    Is he a tight marker to everyone or just you? Because if it's everyone then when it's moderated, everyone's marks will go up.

    That would be my economics teacher, who marks for edexcel and has been downgraded to a lower marker status cauz he's too mean with the marks

    My understanding was that nothing happens for harsh marking but marks go down for generous marking :confused:

    no harsh marking should result in all the marks being moderated upwards. It is always kinder to be harsh than generous.

    If the selection of work that's sent off is considered to be too harshly marked, everyone from that school's grades are raised.
