Guys:hungry mood swings?

Hey, well, this is kinda strange. But I guess I want to know if this happens to other girls with their boyfriends..or if other guys get it. When my boyfriend gets hungry he will go in huge stropping moods. And I mean, really crazy! Well, not totally crazy, but he'll be more aggressive than normal, get really easily frustrated, and just general ignore me or say things he wouldn't normally if I annoy him and ask why he's in a mood. After he's eaten, he's fine. Is this normal? 'Cos I'm pretty sure it isn't...I've spoken to his mum about it briefly 'cos she picked up on it and she said that his dad is exactly the same. So...is there any hope for me if it's genetic? :P: I've pointed it out to him and he knows he does it and I've told him to stop 'cos sometimes he says something that really upsets me - but he still can't seem to control it! I joke about carrying round a 'doggie bag' so that he'll never have to go in a mood when he's hungry...but, maybe there's some truth in it!!

maybe his primal instincts are preparing him to hunt? buy him a spear ;yes;
but i suppose it is possible thats the cause, especially if thats the time it happens. feed him endorphins :p:

My stomach must be a boy stomach because I get well moody when I'm hungry too. Less food = less energy = more frustration!

A hungry man is an angry man...

What a caveman! :smile: At least does he sustain his caveman instincts in the bedroom?

I just get sleepy when I'm hungry. Though I'll always be happy while eating pizza. Though you might have a good idea there. If I get girls to carry around a pack of rolo cookies for me, this will be one very happy caveman.

Could it be a big dip in bloodsugar? Have to admit that I get really snappy if I've not eaten for a while either - to the extent that I always take a banana or something with me if I'm going anywhere, just in case!
So don't worry about it - just be aware of it, and find food asap to shut him up! :wink:

My ex boyfriend used to always stop off at burger king and buy me food before he saw me after school so i wouldnt rip his head off
how thoughtful :suith:

Clever idea, but I'd rather stop off to let her buy her own burger king. And then steal all the chips.

U kno,
it is pretty normal, guys flare up for some of the smallest things dont take it personally :wink:

I get frustrated more than anything when I have to wait long for food.

To some extent that's similar for most men. That happens to me sometimes although it's normally quite mild.

There's a guy at my work though who's diabetic, before lunch everyone gives him a wide birth because he tends to lose it, and I don't just mean aggressive but he can't make sense either, so there's no talking to him. Just be glad your bf is not diabetic. Honestly this guy is scarey, and you know it's not entirely his fault. But I do wish he'd carry a bag of sweets around or something.

Your asking for her to think your calling her fat aren't you? and then shout at you, and then cry...

While that might be good entertainment, I don't think that far ahead. I was just looking at the free food I could get. Daily.
