Diffusion Confusion watch

Announcements

In my A2 biology notes, on the same piece of paper it says (with regard to leaf structure & function)

"diffusion is 10,000 times quicker in gases than liquids"

next sentence: "gases can diffuse through faster when dissolved"

    so now I'm confused.....any help?
