English is a tough language. It can be mastered through tough thorough thought though.

All the best.

Languages are much easier to learn when you are forced to speak that language everyday. I'd say I became 'fluent' in English within a year and half to two years. Then I guess it's all about effort too.

Well I'm half asian but look more asian and my names Jon.

I'm a mixture of Burmese, Indian, English, French and Welsh and you would expect a really nice sort of interesting name but no, Jon, the most boring white name ever.

Languages are not too difficult to learn. One thing I will voice is you need experience in talking to people in a language, in order to fully grasp it.
I speak French, German and Russian as an addition to English.
