I am a year thirteen studying English Language and as part of my coursework I am required to do an investigation that focuses on spoken language. The criteria is that it answers one of the following questions:- What features are being used in the type of spoken language being studied? (Feature based)- What is the language being used to do? (Function based)- How do people feel about the language use of a group or individual? (Attitudes based)- Who uses a particular type of language? (User Based)I am intending on carrying out an investigation into the difference between males and females and how they respond to interview questions about their university experiences (all the people I am asking are teachers)I was wondering if anyone has any advice for this coursework piece, maybe if you have done it before. I am open to opinions on whether you think my idea fits any of the questions (it must fit with at least one), any advice about how to write the investigation, any recommendations of gender theories to add into my piece or any alternative investigation topics I could write on.Any help would genuinely be so appreciated! Thank you!
