How busy is the District line on weekday mornings?

I start an internship in West London after the holidays have died down a bit (so in a few days). It's a 9- 5 and will be during the week. I'm from London but live in South East and rarely venture to West London. Does anybody frequent the District line in the mornings and know if it is busy or not? Trying to see how early I should leave my house if I live in South East London.
ITS HORRIBLE I GET IT TO SCHOOL! i'm on it at the heart of peak time though. ok i exaggerated its actually not that bad, especially as i switch from jubilee line which is PACKED so the district is spacious in comparison

All of the Underground is horrible in rush hour.
Very busy, but then again all the lines are equally as busy. There are also no service or severe delays sometimes on various lines.
