I don't know what to do. I don't enjoy my time at uni, I have been there for one semester and I find the course boring and not only that - I no longer believe that I can get or even want a job in psychology anymore, especially after discovering that the job I did have in mind before going to uni requires a masters and I definitely don't want to stay on for longer than I have to. I would drop out but my mum would be so disappointed one and I can't handle it since she was so proud of me for getting in and I don't even know what I would do with myself if I did drop out. The more I think about it the more depressing everything becomes.

Talk to your uni student advice centre and ask about the possibility of a course transfer. Do a more thorough exploration of course choice, i.e. content and career prospects, before making a transfer decision though.
