Could I start Maths this late into the year?

I've posted lots about maths and I'm worried. I was going to do medicine but average GCSE grades have killed that dream. I then thought about chemistry but the top 10 uni's want Maths. I was also thinking of either economics or comp sci and both need Maths at A-Level. I was doing Maths until October when I dropped it. Now I realise that I need it and its probably too late to add it back. I really didn't want to stay and have to take a gap year because I wouldn't know any one there for my last year. Is there anyway that I could catch up and get a high grade in 6 months?

AS? Easily. I haven't started further maths A2 yet, and I need A*, it's possible.

I don't think that they'll let me back on for this year.

Then just get entered for the exam somewhere and self teach

For me it was but I guess it depends on the person. What did you get at gcse? if you got A*, should be a breeze.
