I'd imagine the same thing you do with an burn. Run it under cold water for 10 mins (or submersed in a glass of water). Maybe invest in some savlon.
vitamin e cream non -perfumed

Get some ice and put it on your lip it will numb the area for a little while. This might help you all pain is only in the mind, so try not to think about it.

Be careful if you use ice, as it might get stuck to your lip! (unfortunate accident with an ice lolly last summer....)

What I meant was if she was to put the ice in a sandwich bag then on to the lip. Then it won't get stuck lol. Sorry to hear about your unfortunate incident.

I wouldn't put vaseline on the burn

Thanks everyone, it doesn't sting anymore. Shoudln't use vaseline as it doesn't allow the skin to breath and ice freezes it so you should you tap cold water  (I did abit of research on google  )

I have a slightly fat lip but it shoudl be ok I hope!!!

Oh perfect cure I think I found was chocolate... So I keep telling myself!!!!

that's good to hear

vaseline or other ointments/fats applied to burns also may damage the tissues and increase the risk of infection

You'll be fine
