^ Thanks guys I appreciate your replies...
Well, last night I went to sleep instead of revising so hopefully I will be awake enough to do twice the amount tonight....

^ I can quite believe that Sara, Im hibernated more times out of 10 than I am awake at the moment!

Well at least as namakenomo said Im not alone!

Anyone else who's tired? And how are you coping? Please feel free to contribute
I just went and put my daughter down to sleep for her nap, and she wouldn't settle so I lay down on the bed next to her.....and fell asleep myself for over an hour!

woops - was meant to put the washing machine on!

I have been going to bed at about 3am everynight (morning) and if I have uni the next day I have to be up at 8.30am and it is killing me. I spend all day at uni yawning and struggling to stay awake during long lectures.
I try going to bed earlier but I just can't sleep...
Mornings just arn't for me I guess.

Same here, ever since I got bk to uni i've hardly slept, mainly because my bed in halls is too hard so i can't get comfy and then people are making a racket until about 5am, having food fights and yelling etc. It's usually because they're drunk. They're normally nice, half decent people when they're sober but alcohol turns them into morons  Anyway, i'm sitting here with my eyes drooping as a result of 6 hours sleep over 2 days  not good

It's stress most probably, make sure you take some time out just to relax each day

EXERCISE! I've recently taken up swimming two or three times a week and it's really helped me. I used to actually have M.E. so I definitely know about being tired and even when I was better I was tired all the time. The swimming is not only good for me but I generally feel more awake. Afterwards of course I can be quite knackered but I think it helps me sleep. Also, when you go to bed, you don't have that feeling of "I'm knackered again for no reason". You feel like you deserve it.

I hope that makes sense and that you give it a go. It helped me at least :s-smilie:

I know how you feel but not due to exam stress or anything, Im anemic so Im tired all the time no matter how much sleep I have. Im actually used to it. I dont know what it feels like to not be tired, its been so long.

My sleep patterns are a bit messed up so I get weird moments of tiredness. :frown:

Stay awake all night and don't go to sleep til the next day - that should sort your sleeping pattern out, although you might be walking around like a zombie, I guarantee you'll go to sleep easily the next day, at a reasonable time :p:

Ditto, except I'm not anemic. At least you know what's wrong with you.

Hey I'm anemic too, have been a for a very long time :frown: , am tired all the time no matter how many tablets I have am still the same after an hour. I'm pretty much used to it aswell, but sometimes I wish it'd go away.

I feel the same, and don't have any exams! I had a final MAJOR project to do, which has now been handed in but it's being assessed so I'm worried about it still :s-smilie:

sometimes a short nap works, sometimes I feel more tired.. meh :s-smilie:

I know I'm not anemic because I was able to give blood only a few weeks ago..

i used to be up every morning at 7 until i was about 17, then it all went downhill and im not sure why. I really struggle to get up before 10 now and seem to need 10+hrs of sleep :frown:

spacecowgirl89- I tried you're theory of staying up all night and day. Then you can sleep the following evening...

OMG it worked!!!!! :congrats:
And I do feel a lot better now I slept for 14 hours last night....lol

But I am hoping this sorted now. Well at least till monday, when Im sure just the thought of the beginning of the week will tire me out!

thanks x

Yes, the last few days at school, I have been fine. Then, when I come home, I am absolutely shattered like now. I think it's patrly cos my period is due, and my body is trying to adapt to school too. It sucks, got so much work to do :frown:

I'm always tired, i fell asleep in english today and now the teacher hates me.. it seems every lesson i go to, my eyes start to close and i can't do anything about it. The only thing that helps is getting more sleep but i can't get to sleep easily because of worrying about stuff etc so energy drinks will have to make do :P
